Powerpoint presentations for individuals accepted in the Research and Development Summaries Session will be collected prior to the meeting to make sure each file runs properly and to allow enough time to load all the presentations onto one laptop prior to the meeting. Powerpoint files are not reproduced or provided to meeting registrants. Additional information about the session is available in the TTS Prospectus.
Your paper must conform to the formatting guidelines provided on this web site. Open the link below to view the instructions for creating and submitting your manuscript. Click here for TTS Manuscript Preparation and Submission Instructions. After your manuscript is complete and formatted correctly, click on the "New Submission" button at the bottom of the page. See the manuscript preparation instructions for details.
PowerPoint presentations are required ONLY for the posters that are accepted for oral presentation at the Research and Development Summaries Session. There are no specific instructions or templates required for powerpoint presentations. Files will be due the week before the meeting in January (see below).
The deadline for manuscripts is NOVEMBER 1, 2011 to allow enough time to review all the submissions and also to assemble and print the proceedings prior to the conference.

The intent of the Technology Transfer Session and the Research and Development Summaries Session is to provide quality sessions focused on educational content, which is free from commercial influence or bias. Manuscripts and posters are not to be be used as platforms for commercial sales, promotions and/or advertising. Excessive use of brand names, product names, trade names, and/or trademarks is not allowed. Excessive use of brand names, product names or logos, failure to substantiate performance claims, and failure to objectively discuss alternative methods, processes, and equipment are indicators of sales pitches. Restricting commercialism benefits both the authors and recipients of submissions and presentations. A general guideline is to use proprietary names once and thereafter to use generic descriptors or neutral designations.
